I recently came across a condition on a hardwood floor i had not seen in my 25 plus years as a consultant. I recently removed an old carpet and the underlying padding from a hard wood floor. This is also a problem with urine from pets or children. We are renting so we don t want to spend alot of money to fix it and the landlord wanted to take up the old carpets before we moved in but said if he didn t have to take up the carpets he would lower the monthly rent.
